Heikki Koivuaho

Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing

Heikki is responsible for Sales and Marketing for the Network Testing business’s Nemo product line.

Heikki was appointed in February 2010 after eight years as President of Anite’s Network Testing business in the South East Asia and Pacific region. Before joining Nemo, Heikki was with Nokia for seven years in finance, product marketing and sales.

Heikki holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Oulu, Finland.

Pasi Niemi

Senior Vice President, Business Development and Product Management

Pasi is responsible for product management and new strategy and business development.

Pasi was a founder of Nemo Technologies Ltd. He has held various positions in product management, R&D and general management, and led the business’s operations in the Americas for several years. Before joining Nemo, he was a project manager at Elektrobit, involved in wireless network testing measurements.

Pasi holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from the Raahe Institute of Computer Science.

Jani Nikkilä

Vice President, EMEA Region

Jani is responsible for the business’s sales management in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Jani joined Nemo in 2005. Before that, he has been working in different international sales and business development positions with several companies, including the Finnish network operator TeliaSonera.

Jani holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Oulu.

Ari Niskanen

President, Singapore Office

Ari, based in Singapore, is responsible for overall business management in the Asia Pacific region for the Network Testing business’s Nemo product line.

Ari has held the position since March 2010. Before joining Nemo, he has worked at NetHawk and Nokia in sales management and market analysis positions in the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa regions.

Ari holds a BBA in International Business and Information Technology from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration.

Kai Ojala

Chief Technology Officer

Kai is responsible for the business’s R&D.

Kai joined Anite in 2002, coming from Finnish network operator Sonera, where he held various R&D management positions within the Mobile Network Planning division. He was also involved in the early development, planning and implementation of Finland’s WCDMA technology and networks.

Kai holds a Licentiate of Technology in Telecommunications from the University of Oulu.

Tero Salo

Director, Supply Chain

Tero is responsible for the business’s global logistics, procurement, repair, and in-house production operations.

Tero joined Anite in February, 2012. Previously, he worked with Nokia Corporation for eleven years in several demanding managerial positions focusing on manufacturing and logistics.

Tero holds an MSc (Tech) in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Oulu.

Kimmo Savolainen

Vice President, Sales Support

Kimmo is responsible for the business's Technical Support team and subcontracting manufacturing.

Kimmo joined Anite in January 2008 after 12 years at Nokia, where he held various management positions in both Finland and the USA, and nearly two years at Elektrobit.

Kimmo holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from the Raahe Institute of Computer Science and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Oulu.

Päivi Siekkinen

Chief Financial Officer

Päivi Siekkinen is the business’s CFO.

Päivi joined Anite in February 2009. Previously she spent several years in Finance Management in global telecommunications companies Powerwave Technologies, Remec and Adc Telecommunications, having begun her career in Nokia Networks.

Päivi holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Vaasa.

Markku Toiviainen

Vice President & General Manager, Americas Region

Markku, based in Irving, Texas, is responsible for sales and overall business management in North America and South America for the Network Testing business’s Nemo product line.

Markku has held this position since July 2005. Before joining Nemo, Markku worked at Nokia Mobile Phones and Nokia Multimedia for ten years in various management roles in sales, product management, and business line management.

Markku holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Oulu.
