Anite plc supplies software and solutions to companies around the world operating in two distinct markets: wireless and travel.
In the wireless market we focus on providing mobile device and network testing systems.
In the travel industry, we provide systems that help companies, primarily in the leisure sector, run their businesses more efficiently.
Our 500 staff work with many of the world’s leading companies in both sectors, from our UK headquarters and offices in 14 countries throughout Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East.
Summary history
1973 - Company founded as Cray Electronics Ltd, focused on engineering, defence systems and equipment testing
1984 - Cray Electronics listed on the London Stock Exchange
1992 - Company acquires travel business Autofile Ltd
1993 - Wireless testing business launched
1996 - Company name changed to Anite Plc
2006 - Company acquires network testing business Nemo
